ship.music (the "Service") is operated by flowstate labs LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you join an artist's world on ship.music, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Contact details. When you join, we collect the phone number or email address you verify with. We use it to send your one-time verification code and, if you opt in, messages from the artists you follow.

Fan profile. Your fan number for each artist, the date you joined, and anything you choose to add, such as a pin on the fan map showing roughly where you are from. Pins are shown to other fans of that artist.

Activity. Which items and media you open and which live sessions you attend, so artists can understand how fans use their world.

Device and usage data. Standard technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, and pages viewed. We measure usage in aggregate. If you use the ship.music mobile app and allow notifications, we store a push notification token for your device.

How we use information

We use your information to run the Service, verify your identity, show you the artist worlds you have joined, deliver messages you have opted in to, respond to support requests, keep the Service secure, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

SMS messaging program

When you enter your phone number on an artist's ship.music page and verify it, you agree to receive a one-time verification code and recurring text messages from ship.music on behalf of that artist, such as new music, live session alerts, and account notifications.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or email info@ship.music.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

Artists. The artist whose world you join can see your fan number, join date, contact details you verified with, and your activity in their world, so they can communicate with their fans.

Service providers. We rely on vendors who process data on our behalf and only as instructed, for things like message delivery, hosting, storage, live audio, push notifications, and usage measurement.

Legal. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of fans, artists, or ship.music.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and stop emails using the unsubscribe link in any email. You can remove your fan map pin from your profile. To access, correct, or delete your information, email info@ship.music from the address or phone number on your account.

Data retention and security

We keep your information while your fan account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, including records of messaging consent. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
